Just because
I'm not writing
Poetry's still inviting.
Ideas fermenting
No repenting
Just like McDonalds
I'm still lovin' it!
So: to the mind tricks
Inside my head
Plenty of thoughts
Certainly not dead.
Your best efforts
Will not work
Seeds of doubt
Wil not lurk
Am not going
To stop to write
It's just that
There's nothing tonight.

(I haven't been writing as much poetry as I have been doing in the last couple of months. But I am pleased there are no thoughts in my head, worried about not being able to write, or putting pressure to write. I just feel, now, that I will write more stuff when I feel like it, and I am happy with that.)
