Sometimes it can be
All to easy to criticise
Deflecting away
From our own faults
Or too frightened
To speak out
At other peoples' shortcomings
In case the pointed finger
Is reversed
And is now
Forcefully in my face.
Is it just me
Or are we all
Scared of the pressure
Of being a simple volunteer
And not being able
To jump off and relax?

(Something annoyed me, about being on the Football Club Committee. But as I type this up, from the scrap of paper that I wrote it on, I cannot remember what prompted this poem!)
